Is it sheer enough to still see freckles through it, or does it cover them completely?

It does not cover them completely, at least on me. I have freckles on my cheeks and they are still visible after I apply the CC cream (shade medium) and liquid blush. They may be slightly less obvious but are definitely visible when I look back in the photos I took.
