I received a sample of this and was excited to try it on my fine, curly hair -- I used a small amount on my roots and it really does volumize well BUT even a little bit made my hair feel intensely dry (and that was just out of the shower and after a deep conditioning treatment) I use similar products frequently to give my curls a boost but was not a fan of this one and couldn't wait to wash it out. ...I don't find it to be particularly volumizing by itself though. I did like that it didn't make my hair oily though.
