I use it every other day to every 2 days (when my face doesn’t feel sensitive) I would say that moisturizer is necessary after since it’s an exfoliating mask. Washes off a lot easier than clay masks and most other masks!...The mask is dark black and some times it stings just a tiny bit but I've never experienced any irritation or redness.
