Full disclosure, I began using this clarifying lotion within the past month, so I never used the 'Original Formula' to which other reviewers refer. ...Usually the low amount wouldn't do too much for my oily/acne skin, but now I'm using Differin and this is working as an AM toning solution. In terms of "exfoliation," this is not going to do what a toner with AHA will, which is give immediate smoothing.
