Yes, there is a learning curve - especially when applying to hooded eyes like mine! I recommend applying in thin layers with 1+ minute of dry time between layers. ...i like using them as toppers instead of the thick foiled look. using them as toppers feel more comfortable on the eye. however, i did try it foiled once and it was beautiful, but since i have slightly hooded eyes, these ended up feeling stiff in the crease. the side effect of that uncomfortable feeling is you get a more prominent eyelid crease as if you had used eyelid tape lol. so that is probably more a pro than a con if you are like me and dont have a lot of eyelid space.
