I received this product to test it out for free. The product came broken so I could not use the pencil , however when testing it I found it wiped off quickly not really waterproof. the gel is nice and strong to keep the hairs in place...Until then, I'll use this one for daily wear with a taupe setting powder to combat the gray/ black. I haven't tested the waterproof capabilities, so I can't speak to that feature.
