I would never go back to regular elastics, i’ve always had issues with the elastics pulling my hair and making my scalp hurt but these don’t pull at all, and keep my hair unknotted. it doesn’t get stuck in your hair. they do stretch out easily but i personally like that feature because i have so much hair....I try to not get them wet and only use on dry hair. I'm expecting the elastic will stretch out after some time (as most do), but will consider opening the seam and threading a new elastic.

Would be perfect with better elastic inside!...However, they have one major downfall, and that is that the elastic inside stretches so much that they are unusable within about a month of steady use. ...I usually only wrap elastics around my hair 2-3 times and have never had a scrunchie or elastic lose elasticity like this.

I use one in a shower to hold my very long hair up with hair conditioner in it while I wash the rest of my body and now I just purchased a second one for regular wear as it really lifts my hair up and is quicker then adjusting hair elastics the certain way.
