Full disclosure, I began using this clarifying lotion within the past month, so I never used the 'Original Formula' to which other reviewers refer. ...Usually the low amount wouldn't do too much for my oily/acne skin, but now I'm using Differin and this is working as an AM toning solution. In terms of "exfoliation," this is not going to do what a toner with AHA will, which is give immediate smoothing.

A must try if you use lotions to intensify your tan....I really liked the color of this tanner but I just think maybe I should stick to mousse tanners instead of lotions.
