I have very oily skin. I've bought probably 50 oil control face products in the last 6 years. ...the only drawback is that you have to leave it on for couple/few minutes before you can apply the rest of your makeup ( i usually brush my teeth after applying and then continue on with my routine) --- i use a mineral powder foundation and this primer helps it last all day --- it has even improved my complextion (i don't use moisturizer any more) --- i tried bare minerals primer (due to it being a little cheaper ) once and quickly came right back to tarte poreless primer --- if you have normal skin and looking for a primer that helps reduce your pores (i have large pores) you will really like this product
