I bought this as a sample, I personally have never tried an exfoliating shampoo prior to this one. I was very pleased with the texture of the shampoo, it’s as you would expect grainy with bits of charcoal. ...Did not expect this to be so awesome. I thought charcoal in a hair product? This is a great everyday shampoo, it isn't too drying.
