For in-store and Sephora.com purchases of merchandise made on or after Friday November 1, 2024 through and including Sunday, December 1, 2024 that are returned or exchanged on or before Friday January 31, 2025, we offer an extended period for in-store exchanges, store credit in the form of a Sephora merchandise credit for returns made in-store, or online credit for returns made by mail initiated on Sephora.com. Merchandise credits can only be used at Sephora stores and not on Sephora.com. Online credits can be used at Sephora.com but are not valid for use in Sephora stores. Any purchases made after Sunday December 1, 2024 will follow our normal Return Policy guidelines. All other terms of our Return Policy continue to apply.
If you are not completely satisfied with a Sephora purchase or gift for any reason, Sephora welcomes you to return new or gently used products for a full refund to your original method of payment if returned within 30 days of purchase, in most cases. Returns that are made from 31-60 days after purchase are eligible for online credit (if returned to us by mail) or store credit (if returned in-store). In order to complete the return, you must have a proof of purchase.
Please review our return, refund, and exchange policies below for purchases made on Sephora.com, purchases of Sephora items on third-party digital marketplaces,(including, but not limited to, Instagram, Google, YouTube and Facebook), purchases made in Sephora stores, and purchases made on third party on-demand delivery marketplaces such as Instacart, Doordash and Shipt. Products must be returned in new or gently used condition. Sephora monitors return activity for abuse and reserves the right to limit returns or exchanges at Sephora in all instances. Beauty Insider points and spend associated with all refunds will be removed when the transaction is processed. All returns are subject to validation and approval at Sephora’s discretion. If a return is not approved by Sephora for any reason, the item may not be returned to you. We may ask you for a driver’s license or government ID to verify your identity.
THIS POLICY IS EFFECTIVE FOR ALL PURCHASES MADE ON AND AFTER JULY 1, 2021.
Sephora.com purchases and purchases of Sephora items on third-party marketplace (including, but not limited to, Instagram, Google, YouTube, and Facebook) can be easily returned for FREE (no return shipping or handling fees) to any of our Sephora locations for fast processing or by mail if you use our pre-paid return shipping label (follow the return procedures described below). Purchases made on Sephora.com and in Sephora stores cannot be returned or exchanged at Sephora at Kohl’s. We regret that we are unable to refund your original shipping charges, if applicable, unless the return was a result of our error. Please allow 30 days for your return to be processed if sent by mail. You will receive an email confirmation once your return has been processed. Your financial institution may take longer to reflect the transaction.

Items purchased on Sephora.com may not be returned by mail or in stores and will not be refunded more than 60 days after the purchase date.
Items shipped to Sephora outside of the returns window, not in new or gently used condition, without a Sephora original packing slip, or not purchased at Sephora, may not be credited back or returned to you.
We will not offer replacements or refunds for orders or items that are reported missing or damaged that we reasonably believe to have been delivered to a parcel forwarding company.
Sephora is unable to offer exchanges by mail for purchases on Sephora.com or Sephora items purchased on third-party marketplaces; however, we are happy to exchange your new or gently used product in any of our store locations within 60 days of purchase.
* If you paid with Klarna or Afterpay, and Sephora receives your new or gently used item within 30 days of purchase, you will receive a full refund to your Klarna or Afterpay account and the amount and length of your payment plan will be adjusted accordingly.
** If you paid with Klarna or Afterpay, and Sephora receives your new or gently used item within 31–60 days of purchase, the purchase price will be refunded to an online credit that can be used at sephora.com but is not valid for use in Sephora stores. This credit will NOT be applied to your Klarna or Afterpay account and you MUST continue to make payments to Klarna or Afterpay per the original agreement.

If there is a discrepancy between the return policy and procedures printed on the Sephora original packing slip and the information provided above, the information provided above governs the return of your Sephora.com purchase.

For new or gently used items returned in a Sephora store, please provide any of the following: an original packing slip, Sephora.com Order or Shipping Confirmation email, the Sephora.com order on your mobile device or your Beauty Insider information. Your return will be processed according to this refund and exchange policy. Any products not verifiable within our system will be ineligible for a refund, exchange, or credit.

It takes up to 30 days to process returns and credit your account or to issue an online store credit. Please note that your financial institution may take longer to reflect the transaction.
* Items purchased at Sephora stores, Buy Online Pickup in Store purchases, Same-Day Delivery orders and Sephora items ordered on Instacart, Doordash or Shipt cannot be returned by mail.
** Gift Cards, certain Sephora Favorites Kits and some intimate care items are final sale and cannot be returned by mail or in store.

Visit any free standing Sephora store to return an item purchased from Sephora.com or third-party marketplace within 60 days of purchase. Please bring any of the following: an original packing slip, Sephora.com Order or Shipping Confirmation email, the Sephora.com order on your mobile device, your Beauty Insider information. Additionally, please bring the debit or credit card you used to place your order. Returns made within 30 days will be refunded to the credit or debit card of your choice. Returns made within 31-60 days will be refunded in the form of a merchandise credit that can be used in a Sephora store, but not online at Sephora.com. Purchases made on Sephora.com and in Sephora stores cannot be returned or exchanged at Sephora at Kohl’s.
If you are returning a Sephora gift that you received by mail and do not want the refund to go to the purchaser, please visit your local Sephora store for assistance with an exchange. Please bring any of the following: an original packing slip, Sephora.com Order or Shipping Confirmation email, or Gift Receipt email. Do not make a return by mail.
Sephora in-store purchases, Buy Online and Pick Up orders, Same-Day Delivery orders and Doordash or Shipt orders of Sephora products may be returned or exchanged within 60 days. , Instacart and DoorDash orders of Sephora products may be returned within 30 days, if the product is in new or gently used condition with a receipt or gift receipt at a store location. Purchases made on Sephora.com and in Sephora stores cannot be returned or exchanged at Sephora at Kohl’s. See the table below for information on the payment method to which your refund will be issued. If a gift receipt is presented (with the exception of Instacart), you will receive a Sephora store credit that can be used in a Sephora store only. Instacart returns will be refunded directly from Instacart to the original form of payment. Sephora in-store purchases, Buy Online and Pick Up orders, Same-Day Delivery and Instacart, Doordash and or Shipt orders cannot be returned by mail. All gift cards are final sale and no refunds will be given.

Sephora store credit does not have an expiration date, cannot be redeemed for cash (unless required by law), reloaded, transferred to others, or sold and can only be used at Sephora stores (not at Sephora.com or through Customer Service). Sephora store credit will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

***** If you paid with Klarna in a Sephora store, on a Buy Online and Pickup in Store order or a Same Day Delivery order, and Sephora receives your new or gently used item within 31–60 days of purchase, the purchase price will be refunded to a Sephora store credit that can be used at Sephora stores but is not valid for use on sephora.com. This refund will NOT be applied to your Klarna account and you MUST continue to make payments to Klarna per the original agreement.
^ In order to receive a refund to your Klarna or Afterpay card via your Apple or Google wallet, the Klarna or Afterpay card must be selected in the Apple or Google wallet.
Beauty Insider points associated with your refund will be removed when the transaction is processed. All applicable taxes as required by law will be included.
New or gently used items returned without a receipt but found within our system will be processed according to the applicable Sephora refund and exchange policy. Any products not verifiable within our system will be ineligible for a refund, exchange, or merchandise credit.
Sephora is also happy to exchange your new or gently used Sephora in-store purchase or Instacart, Doordash or Shipt purchase of Sephora product for another product within 60 days of purchase.
All purchases made at the Mohegan Sun store with Player’s Club Points are only eligible for exchange. Exchange must be within 30 days of purchase.
No purchase made from a Sephora at Kohl’s location is eligible for a return or exchange in a Sephora store. Please return your purchase to a Sephora at Kohl’s store. Purchases made on Sephora.com and in Sephora stores cannot be returned or exchanged at Sephora at Kohl’s.

Buy Online orders picked up at a Kohl’s location must be returned to a Kohl’s location for a refund within 60 days. Please allow up to 10 business days for the return to be reflected on your account. Returns for orders picked up at a Kohl’s location are not eligible for return at a Sephora store or by mail or after 60 days.
