When considering if ThermaClear is right for you, keep in mind that mild acne is defined as several inflamed pimples, while moderate acne is many inflamed pimples and pustules (elevation of skin that is filled with pus). This type of acne is commonly referred to as pimples, breakouts, blemishes and zits. ThermaClear should not be used by those with severe nodular or cystic acne and it is not for use on non-inflammatory acne. -Not for use on skin lesions such as moles, warts, or ingrown hairs, or on irritated skin or skin with open sores.
-Not for use on skin that is sensitive to heat, sun or chemicals, as the device utilizes a heated pulse to treat pimples.
-In case of adverse reaction, discontinue use and contact your doctor or dermatologist.
-Do not use when ThermaClear is wet.
-Do not use if tip of device is damaged or broken. Do not attempt to repair a broken device.
-Do not store near a heat source or in direct sunlight as these may damage the device.
-Not for use with rechargeable batteries. Only fresh, high-quality alkaline AA batteries should be used.
-Avoid contact with eyes.
-Keep out of reach of children.
-Begin with clean, dry skin.
-Gently remove cap and disinfect the treatment tip with alcohol.
-To turn on, press and hold the on/off button. A beep indicates it is on and that you may release the button. The device will be charged and ready to use in approximately 10 seconds.
-The "high" temperature setting is preferable, but depending on the sensitivity of certain parts of the face you may need to use the "low" setting.
-Wait for the tip to stop blinking, then using a mirror to guide you, place the treatment tip on an inflamed pimple and press the Pulse button.
-You will hear a beep indicating the heat pulse has been applied. Continue to hold for two seconds, then remove from pimple. Repeat for all other pimples.
